Everything you need to print posters at home

Any size, any paper

A 1-meter poster on A4? About 12 pages. A 2-meter poster? About 48. Set the size and GridPrint does the math. Configurable margins and overlap so pages align when you tape.

Built-in image effects

Halftone for a retro look, color tinting, brightness and contrast. Adjust your image right in the app — no Photoshop needed.

Assembly guide in every PDF

Crop marks, a scale ruler, and a numbered assembly map showing where each page goes. No guessing which page is which.

Private and offline

Your images never leave your browser. No uploads, no account, no watermark. Install as a PWA and use it without internet.

Frequently asked questions

What size poster can I print?
Any size you want. GridPrint splits your image across as many pages as it takes. A 1-meter poster on A4 paper uses about 12 pages. A 2-meter poster uses about 48.
Will it look good up close?
Depends on your source image. GridPrint shows a DPI warning if your image is too low-res for the size you picked. For a 1-meter poster, a 3000px wide image gives about 75 DPI — looks great from normal viewing distance.
How do I tape the pages together?
Each page has overlap margins. Print at 100% scale, cut along the crop marks, overlap adjacent pages, and tape from behind. The assembly guide shows the exact order.
Is it actually free? No watermark?
Yes. Free, no watermark, no account. GridPrint runs entirely in your browser — your images never touch a server.
Is this a Rasterbator alternative?
GridPrint is a modern alternative to The Rasterbator. It runs in your browser (no Flash), supports more formats, includes assembly guides, and works offline.
