# GridPrint

> Free browser-based tool to split any image across multiple printed pages for assembling large posters, stencils, and artwork using a regular home printer.

## What it does

GridPrint takes any image and lets you print it at exact physical dimensions from a regular home printer. Need a 15 cm photo? Set the size and print. Need a wall-sized poster? GridPrint splits it across multiple standard-sized pages (A4, Letter, A3) with crop marks, overlap guides, and assembly instructions. One tool for both single-page exact-size prints and multi-page large-format output.

## Key features

- Image splitting: Upload any image (PNG, JPEG, WebP, SVG, BMP, TIFF, HEIC) and split it into a grid of pages at your target size (in cm or inches)
- Paper sizes: A4, Letter, A3 with configurable margins and overlap
- Image effects: Edge detection, halftone, stencil, background removal
- Adjustments: Brightness, contrast, grayscale, black & white, invert, color tint
- Transforms: Crop, rotate, flip
- PDF export: Multi-page PDF with crop marks, page labels, assembly guide, overlap guides
- Tile exclusion: Click individual tiles to exclude them from the PDF
- Presets: Built-in presets (tattoo stencil, B&W poster, halftone) plus custom presets
- Undo/redo: 30-level history with keyboard shortcuts
- i18n: 10 languages (EN, ES, PT, FR, DE, IT, JA, ZH, KO, RU)
- PWA: Works offline after first load
- Privacy: 100% client-side, no server uploads, no tracking
